Photography Tips and Tricks
- Use construction paper or posterboard for backgrounds. Easy to carry smaller cuts with you for macros and they make great solid colors when you want to focus on a simple subject.
- For the "dewey" or "rain" look on flowers or objects, take a spray bottle, fill it with water and "spray" your subject with the water dropplets.
- Always take photos at the highest resolution that you can. You can lower the resolution later, but a photo will not look as good if you "up" the resolution later.
- A quick substitute for a polarized camera lens (and much less) is to get a pair of polarized sunglasses and place the sunglasses lens' in front of the camera lens.
